With scores ranging from 63%-70%, Winchester displayed his wonderful gaits and lovely temperament taking home all red(1st place) ribbons. He received excellent comments from international judges Elizabeth McMullen FEI 5*, Marion Cunningham FEI 4* and Victoire Mandl FEI 4*, such as "Nice horse, correctly schooled to this level" and "Nice mover!" awarding him scores of 7 & 8's for gaits as well as several 8's for quality of trot, stretching down during a circle and his canter work.

Winny - Excellent jumper partner!

The perfect 17.1hh, Winchester is a honest, forgiving and loving horse. He has shown in the Baby Greens, Trillium Jumper/Medals and currently in the Jumpers and Equitation Divisions pinning Feb/Mar '11, in the Eq's at HITS. This horse has great knees and form over fences as well as being well schooled on the flat, giving him great rideability and adjustability on course. Winchester is a simple ride, lovely flying changes, direct to the fence, no muss, no fuss. In our lessons with Beth Underhill, she said " He knows his business and sets out to complete it". **During the purchase of Bella, she was killed by a Hit-and-Run driver in the Collingwood area.  In her memory, the

"Pass Wide and Slow" campaign was born.

(Yellow Creek/Gaetana/Gotta Danz)

Yet another of the South Grey horses that was simple, safe and quiet from the first day on his back!  Taos is a 2006 Hanoverian/TB gelding who will finish 16.2hh.  Taos shows good scope and form in freejumping and he has been lightly started under saddle.  He will have a terrific adjustable canter for the jumper ring but his bold nature and TB blood make him a great candidate for the event rider!  Offered at this time for just $8500, price will increase when he resumes training in 2009!

Wisdom - SOLD!!!

If intelligence is what you look for in a horse, look no further!  Wisdom is sensible, sane and straightforward.  From his first day under saddle he showed a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.  He is quiet, bombproof and has three smooth, quality gaits that are a dream to ride!  With good bone, correct legs and big swinging movement, Wisdom offers the amateur dressage rider years of enjoyment.  However he shares his pedigree with Olympic level dressage horses too numerous to name and will no doubt be competitive right up to the FEI levels!  A 2004 Hanoverian gelding standing 16.1hh, he also enjoys hacking and jumping....Wisdom is a horse you cannot go wrong with!  Wisdom recently scored over 65% at his first dressage show at Palgrave.  Available for $25000.

Gaetana - 2001 Registered CSHA (Han/Tb) Mare

(Gotta Danz/Imagine That/Ryan's Image)

An ideal blend of old world Hanoverian lines with an infusion of TB, Gaetana is a versatile modern sport horse.  Her strong, compact build and big rhythmic movement will make her competitive in the dressage ring.  With the great Goldschlager (Gotthard) as her grandsire she has a neat and tidy jump and bold nature that will excel in eventing or jumping.  Best of all, Gaetana has a near-bombproof, sensible attitude perfect for an amateur.  Born 2001, Gaetana is a grey registered CSH mare and has already produced the lovely CSH gelding Taos (Yellow Creek).  Now finished her broodmare duties at South Grey, she is going nicely under saddle and ready to embark on a show career!

Warrick - 2006 Grey Han/Tb Gelding

  A real sweetheart!

Warrick (by Wisdom/Imagine That/Ryan's Image)

Wonderful, rising 2yr old, grey Han/TB cross gelding. This fellow has it all! Great movement, easy to handle, super manners and temperament. Potential as a jumper, eventer or dressage horse. Will make an excellent amateurs horse. Warrick is a real thinker, not one to jump to quick conclusions, he likes to think things through! Should mature over 16hh. His bloodlines include some of the most well known Hanoverians: World Cup 1, Espri, Warkant, Wendekreis added to a touch of classic Thoroughbred blood. His TB lines include the excellent conformation and performance producing stallions like Roundtable and Princequillo! Very good bone size. Sensible like you wouldn't believe! Warrick will be an asset you won't want to pass up. Inquiries always welcome.

Fiorentina - 2012 Hanoverian Mare

Fiorentina is registered with the Hanoverian Verband and was Reserve Champion Dressage Foal at her inspection at Parkwood Farm, Sept 2012. She displays a sweet, laid back character and is very easy to handle. Her movement is exquisite. She is lovely, refined, modern with excellent conformation.  Unfortunately, Fia fractured her right ischium as a yearling. As a result, she has difficulty backing up.  She can be sold as a broodmare, or riding horse.  It has not effected her movement.  Fia is being started under saddle in May (2016).

Out of our outstanding Hanoverian mare Vesta (Viva Voltaire x Waldfee x Wendekreis) who has been producing fantastic foals with lots of chrome, superior movement, temperament, athleticism  and conformation.  Her sire Viva Voltaire produced Tom Dvorak's "Viva's Salieri" who medalled (Silver) at the Pan Am Games. Vesta was bred to Freestyle,  promising a potential dressage star!  Freestyle by Florestan, was a Premium stallion who won his SPT with 10 for character and a 9 for temperament. In dressage he received a 9.33... for rideability and also placed 7th in the jumping portion of the test. His total score was 132.55  Vesta is known to produce top athletes, excellent future stars for the professional or ammy rider. She was approved by the Hanoverian Verband as a 4 yr old and earned her acceptance with excellent scores,  into their Jumper Improvement Breeding program. She had tonnes of scope, power, great technique and an amazing catlike jump with excellent knees. Also received scores in mid 60's when shown at the Gold level dressage shows.

Fiorentina should mature to be over 16.2hh.  As a yearling, "Fia" fractured her ischium.  This has resulted in an ungainly "back-up" and I do not recommend her for a dressage show horse.  She is perfectly suited for dressage and all forward movement.  Fia has stunning movement and an in your pocket temperament.

Imagine That - 1997 Grey Han/Tb Registered CSHA Mare

Imagine That (by Ryans Image out of Waldfee by Wendekreis)

Image has had quite the show career!  Starting at just 5 weeks of age at her very first line show!  Image showed all four years on the line with many high placings, reserves and champions.  She was then off to show in the Baby Greens at Palgrave receiving ribbons in each of her classes.  Image then spent a few years as a mom.

Then Image found her calling! She had placed 5th at Checkmate July 29th at her very first event! Then on Aug. 4th at Grandview, Image went on to place 2nd in her division! This now qualified her for the Provincial Championships, after just two shows!!!! Solid dressage scores followed by clear in stadium and in cross country. Ridden by Jessica Ruppel, she was schooling at Checkmate with Jess over training sized jumps and her dressage was steadily improving.  Jess and Image were an amazing team until she was purchased as a hunter, abruptly ending her eventing career.
